The Faux Fleece is softer than regular carpet and has almost the same quality as home carpet, except that the home carpet is heavier. Your cats will feel more comfortable laying on it. It feels and looks different from the regular carpet at your house, so if your cats get the fun from our cat furniture, they won't bother your regular carpet any more. The Faux Fleece is glued and stapled (stapled under the wood, won't hurt the cat) to the wood, so it won't come off easily.
